Stephen W. Burrow was born in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1966. He obtained his
Bachelors Degree from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service in 1988, where he received
a Certificate in German Public and International Affairs with Distinction. In 1993, Mr. Burrow graduated
from Tulane University's School of Law, acquiring both a Juris Doctor Degree and a Certificate in
European Legal Practice. While at Tulane, he served as President of Tulane Law School Student Bar
Association, an extern clerk for U.S. District Judge Martin L. C. Feldman of the Eastern District of
Louisiana, as a senior member of the Tulane Journal of International and Comparative Law and in the
Tulane Inns of Court.
Mr. Burrow was admitted to practice law in Mississippi in 1993, and in Alabama in 1994. He is
a member of the American Bar Association, Mississippi Bar Association, the Alabama Bar Association,
the American Inns of Court and the Jackson County Bar Association. Mr. Burrow is admitted to practice
before all Mississippi and Alabama state courts, the U.S. District Courts for Northern and Southern District of Alabama, the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Fifth and Eleventh Circuits and the United States Supreme Court.
Mr. Burrow became a director with the firm in 1999. Mr. Burrow's practice is general, with an emphasis on business and commercial law and litigation, real estate development, and insurance bad-faith litigation.
