BRETT K. WILLIAMS

Brett Williams was born in Grand Forks, North Dakota in 1962. He received a B.S. Degree in 1984 and Juris Doctor Degree in 1987, both from the University of Mississippi. He was admitted to practice law in the State of Mississippi in 1988. He is a member of the Phi Delta Phi Fraternity and served on the Moot Court Board while attending law school. He has served as President of the Young Lawyers Section of the Jackson County Bar Association, Vice President of the Young Lawyers Section of the Jackson County Bar Association and is a member of the Jackson County Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Mississippi Defense Lawyers Association. Mr. Williams has been a partner in the firm since 1993. He is admitted to all Mississippi State and Federal Courts as well as the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. His practice is general but primarily consists of trial work in the fields of medical malpractice defense, insurance defense and hospital law.
